CJ Time

It has been such a delight to spend time with Corinne! She loves to play, laugh, and at times is quite vocal. Bananas and sweet potatoes are favorites. She is quite adept at feeding herself puffs. She loves her toys and books. We have been taking long walks in the park in the afternoons. We have seen bunnies everyday. CJ falls asleep after about 15 minutes and snoozes for the next 45. Bathtime is lots of fun. Last night, she managed to stay up til 7:40 pm - a late night for her!

It's Complicated Still

Now we do have taste, this family of mine. Really we, as a whole, do. I however am not as classy, so when it's my turn to have the remote, it is time to watch such classics as Denise Richards': It's Complicated, or Living Lohan. Joe and Pop will indulge me and watch too, but usually not without making ... insightful comments.

Today we all watched Denise Richards go on a blind date with a "normal" man. After the maybe 8th expletive was bleeped out and after Ms. Richards tried to buy pig junk online Pop reported that he was "sorry but that woman is trash," as if I will be offended.

Does he think that I look up to Denise?

It's Complicated

It is so good to have Joe back in town. He was gone all weekend at the junior high's National Science Bowl in Denver, as a coach. His team came in 12th. It is good to have Joe back in town for many reasons:

• Joe comes up with pearls of wisdom during random moments.
• Just today he taught me that daddy pigs do not act like human daddies.
• He can help me with chemistry.
• He is too cool for words.
• Joe takes out the trash and mows the lawn.
• I have never done either.

It is also awesome to have Joe back as he talks to Pop. Sometimes I will go without talking and just absorb the interesting discussions that they have, especially when they are once sided.
